New Standards for Safety and Sustainability of Metros in India | ELE Times

The first Danfoss Drives Solutions package of 400+ IP55 drives for Chennai Metro Rail Ltd. was commissioned in 2013 as part of Phase I of the project, wherein 100 per cent of all Drives requirements for the project were fulfilled by the company. Since then, Danfoss India has provided 500+ units of Variable Speed Drives Solutions to CMRL.

Through the course of the Danfoss’ project with Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation (KMRC) which commenced in 2019, over 80+ units of Variable Speed Drives Solutions have been delivered to date. These Drives solutions are integral to various applications such as Tunnel Ventilation Fans, Trackway Exhaust Fans, Chillers, Pumps, Air Handling Units, etc. among several others.
